Fire Officer 360 Andre Wharton joined the Barbados Fire Service in 2018. Although he is “young” in service, he has started to gain the knowledge, skills and experience that will set him on the path to becoming an efficient Fire Officer. He entered the Fire Prevention and Code Enforcement Unit in 2020 with the determination to add to his knowledge and skill base, making him better equipped to attain his goal of making each community in Barbados a safe one to live in.
In 2006, Fire Officer 328 Sobers joined the ranks of the Barbados Fire Service he has always given of his best and believed in the fair treatment and the best for everyone, this attitude has seen him being elected as the Secretary of the Barbados Fire Service Association for four continuous years and being an instructor the Barbados Junior Fire Cadet Program. He was reassigned to the Fire Prevention & Code Enforcement Unit in the year 2020 as a Fire and Life Safety Officer. His assigned duties includes processing Fire Safety Inspections, Burn Permits, and carrying out Fire Safety Lectures. As it relates to his goals in the Unit his passion is making each community in Barbados a Safer one.
Ms Natasha Forde joined The Barbados Fire Service in 2003 in the adminIstrative section of the department, her love for the department led her to enlist as a fire officer in 2005. Ms Forde is skilled in many aspects of firefighting and is quite knowledgable in fire prevention practices, the department draws upon her expertise as an instructor especially in the junior fire cadet programme and her impeccable public relation and public educational skills make her an asset to the Unit as they go into the Community.
