Mr. Patrick Edwards was enlisted in the Barbados Fire Service on February 1, 1993. he served as a recruiting instructor for the department with distinction.
Some of his academic achievements include a Diploma of Fire Chief , Associate Degree in Applied Science, a National Fire Academy leadership 1 certificate among others. He also holds a Fire prevention Inspector certificate from the Kentucky Office of State.
Mr. Edwards has obtained an extensive training portfolio throughout his career in various areas such as Basic Fire Investigator, Drill Course 1/03, Low Angle Rescue and Company Tactical Operations.
He is also a recipient of the Queen Jubilee Medal and a service Medal of Honour, he is currently the officer in charge of The Fire Prevention and Code Enforcement Unit and acting Station Officer for the Bridgetown Fire Station.
