70th Anniversary
The year 2025 is one of great significance for the Barbados Fire Service. It is the year that the Service celebrates its 70th Anniversary of providing ‘Excellent Service’ to the people of Barbados and those who visit our shores.
April 15th 1955 opened the book entitled the “Barbados Fire Service” and now we turn the leaf on our 70th chapter under the heading – “Acknowledging the Past, Acclaiming the Present, Adapting to the Future”.
We invite you to share this special moment with us, as we celebrate our triumphs and our trials as they have made us who we are today; a beacon of excellence
Reminder
It’s not only the dry season but it is very windy in Barbados. So we are reminding you not to burn any rubbish (garbage) or use fire to clear vacant lots, as the dry conditions and high winds could lead to rapid fire spread which could damage or destroy other property..
