Jason Collins has been a firefighter for over 12 years during which time he would have acquired various skill sets through departmental training. Jason as he is more familiarly known to his friends has also served as an instructor for the Junior Fire Cadet program. He is currently attached to the Fire Prevention Unit and is one of the voices heard on the 311 Radio Show which is aired on Sundays. Fire Officer Collins who believes in always giving his best in any task he undertakes also takes safety very seriously and will be quick to say to you in the words of one of his recruiting instructors “don’t take anything for granted”.
